30 August – Dani Pedrosa on Honda won the Grand Prix of Indianapolis, eleventh round of the 2010 Moto Gp World Championship. The Spaniard gained the head of the race at lap 7 and no one of his rivals could catch him. On the podium also the two Yamaha riders Ben Spies, who had started in pole position, and Jorge Lorenzo, while Valentino Rossi got the fourth place.
Jorge Lorenzo is the leader of the World Championship Standings with 251 points, followed by the Honda riders Pedrosa and Dovizioso with 183 and 126 points respectively.
